The inverter works as advertised and the priced is fair. I use it to run a laptop computer on my boat. The only negative is the noise produced by the fans.

I order this item two weeks ago and I was glad to received the item so fast in 3 days time after I order. Now here is the main course....I was so exited to open the box and connect the lids to the Positive & Negative polarity and test it to my car cigarette lighter...Kasammm !!! After tuning the switch "ON" my RAV4 fuse blown out and I test w/ a multimeter which I found out that the item was shorted for some reason. I took my car to toyota dealer to replace the fuse which I ended up paying 30 dollars easy..Now I wrote 3 times to the seller Pier 80 and no help was indeed provided and I was disappointed.....I end up apply to get my money back and file a complain to Amazon either way I could dispute my 42 dollars on my credit card. OH boy what bad experience...Just a reminder before you buy this item try to make a research...good luck.Customer Review: Power to go

This heavy box has a completely inadequate manual. Upon the first test it blew the 15 amp lighter fuse in my otherwise indestructible Toyota 4WD truck, and I didn't even plug anything into the inverter itself! No amperage specs or warnings are included with it anywhere, and Amazon's website product description doesn't even describe what's included in the box when one buys the unit. At least they took it back...
Maybe if the prospective buyer is an electrician and can pre-check with testing equipment this unit could be ok, but I have to call it my worst experience buying something from Amazon, bar none! Nuts to anything that harms my truck!
